The Stir Cooker is designed for virtually effortless operation. All components are quickly adjusted, removed, or replaced, with snap together fittings or simple one-hand quick-clamps. The Stirring Arm glides easily up or down on the Main Column, and drops to precise height and centering via a guide pin on the Stop Ring. The Stop Ring is moved from its upper or lower position (corresponding to 2 1/2 or 7 quart pan) by loosening a single clamp bolt, rotating to disengage a locating plunger from its detent, and repositioning at the other locating detent on the Main Column. Stirring Foot snaps securely into Clutch Mechanism without tools, and the Scraper likewise snaps instantly onto the swivel post of the Stirring Foot. The thermocouple is secured with a simple quick-release thumb screw.
