The control panel is populated with familiar, clearly labeled devices that control basic machine functions. Burner temperature and stirring speed are adjusted via rotary knobs. A large illuminated pushbutton switch selects auto or manual temperature control. Two smaller pushbuttons provide power to the temperature control unit, and arm the alarm function. Alarm volume is controlled via a rotary mechanical shutter.

The temperature control unit provides a host of user selectable functions, but in daily operation a few simple keystrokes set the desired cooking temperature. Dual display monitors set point and current temperature simultaneously.
